last paper its the last paper on thurs!! before the paper today can hear lots of ppl screaming for joy in hall, cos many ppl end their paper alr!!!!!! cant wait!! but thats after 2 days of solid mugging for cbc213!! i have lotssss of stuff to do after exams ((: 1) go out with uni frens after exams :D 2) xmas party with the extended family on xmas eve! 3) bring my aunt, suzanne and jiatian around.. as a tour guide (: 4) DnD xmas party! 5) hall prod trg 6) countdown party job 7) bbq with the guys 8) go for a shorttt holiday? december = exams :( aren't dec meant for xmas shopping and gathering with frens, or simply put, HOLIDAY? thanks to yog we have exams till 23rd dec. fml. its the much dreaded part of uni life, or any school life again-- studyyy... didnt go home last wkend, and think it'll continue till exam ends. plain boring life, sick of can2 food, what can be worst. keith's dad came with 2 roller kinda chair (wat u use in the study room la) yst. one red and one blue for each of us. heh. but i was just rolling from the table to the fridge, which has close to nth. zzzz. time to get mum stock it up for me this weekend. 23RD DECEMBER FASTER COME. memorable 20th bday its the usual long thurs break. i still have tut and lab report to do, ahhh and laundry in the washing machine. but i'll still take some time to write abt my awesome 20th bday. all photos are alr up on fb though. a good thing its not too near exams yet. or rather is it? finals next month.. grrr... friday night bf picked me up after my hall prod trailer shoot. i look damn weird in it anw. zzzzz. check out my fb if u are interested to see. yup den we headed to 2am dessert bar. yay we wanted to go there snce ages. reserved a sofa seat and its really a comfy place, its dark lightings.. but v crowded though.. explains the slow service... the dessert were not bad i would say. designer food. looks better than eating haha..(: it was alr 12am but i think was hungry so we strolled down to check out EWF. and omgg they are open till 1am on friday nights so yay! we ordered original fries hahah (:   sunday night had a celebration with family. original plan was pan pac buffet. but i was too stressed up by 213 test that i requested to go somewhere nearer, and we ended up in ichiban again. but its when u feel, the company and ur mood is really more important than the food. and yup zongxian and keith joined us for the night too :D  on the actual day itself, the uni peeps bought me cake and present and card. really glad to have these ppl ard. imagine without them, how would lectures and tutorials and breaks be. (:(: at night after bf's lesson we headed to town.. we wanted to go relax bistro in 313 cos i had been saying i want pasta, but sadly its closed, due to unknown reason. so we end up in trattoria italian kitchen. u can see it when u come up from somerset mrt. the food was not bad. and prompt service. its the 1st time we tried italian food. we tried local, jap, western, indian, chinese, korean and many many others food before... lol (: then we ended with dessert at swensens, free firehouse sundae, and a banana split and a caramel ice blended and deep fried mushrooms (: hahaha eating non stop. oh plus a really nice birthday gift from the bf.. a new wallet. i really need it.. the old one was tearing apart... lol!! ((:  and was amazed by the numbers i saw on iphone... 178 wall posts for my bday.. i think its not a lot for many.. but years ago, i rmb i was so free i went to count. there were only like abt 50. lol.. cos of uni i guess, where were get to meet sooooooo much more ppl.. and everyone make a difference in our life. as i replied everybody's texts and fb msg, i think of who this person is, how i met him/her... especially ppl whom i havent met for ages, but still rmb me.. its a great feeling, really really.. recess week is here! RECESS WEEK IS HEREEE (: and it started with a blast :D sherry's birthday on friday at the sentosa was cool!! the place is pretty and the food was great. plussss nice polaroids :D rushed back for night cycling. was late so i just cabbed back. the queue at vivo was crazy-even-longer-than-bus-queue. even on call cabs cant come in thats how bad it is. so i trained 1 station to outram. and a good kind cab uncle drove me down at a speed of 120km/h omggg. cos i was whining abt how late i am alr. hahahahha. it was tiring as usual but the DnD ppl sure made things better. awesome ppl!! :D  slept my saturday away and met family at causeway point. sister's treat to an awesome crystal jade feast. woohooo. just niceeee. and shopping at causeway point just makes me feel guilty. including wat i bought in causeway, the whole week i bought polaroids, new clothes, new shoes, new earrings, new cleanser at faceshop.... omg i cant rmb wat else =safter tuition on sunday mum and sis had this impromptu shopping desire at jurong point. but i end up being the one to buy stuff again. new watch! zzzzzzzz aft dinner met the bofriend Mr Keith for our movie date at bishan gv with his DnD lucky draw tickets hahaha. Eat Pray Love was cheeem, we were still discussing abt it aft we left the cinemas. lol. drove around to look for beancurd cos i was craving for it but failed cos its alr like 1am and all the shops were closed. dang. but still, great weekend out!!  more stuff to lookout for in recess week ;)- later: xlb buffet with blk 3 and co. -wed: OMC 10/11 Qing Gong Yan (international buffet) -thurs: DnD meeting in town cant wait! flooded by workkkkk omggg i havent blogged since school started tsk. its been a busy 1 month. and WHAT?!? U MEAN ITS GONNA BE RECESS WEEK??!! TIME IS PASSING TOO FAST YO!! here i m on my 4hours long break on thursdays. procrastinating to start doing my lab report. hah. i guess i will get started when my laundry is done. thats 30 minutes more to go. apart from the overwhelming information from these freaking hard modules, everything else is doing well =) lets see.. lots of activities with the best hall og YEAK'M!!! glad the freshies always initiate to come up wth events and celebrations. MAF celebration with steamboat and @adm was fun ttm. pageant preview was a blast and DnD was fun with our yeak'm god blessing us many many lucky draw prizes!! (:   and boyfriend is awesome ♥ celebrated our 8th months on 10.10.10.. dined at PS cafe@dempsey which we always wanted try... the food is niceeeee like seriously. and island creamery to end off the wonderful meal! besides celebration we had been having random good food to help pass the week fasterrrr. like sakae sushi, lai lai beef noodles@jp. great time spent tgt (:  not to forget.. dearest roomie!! works piling up for both of up, with school stuff and hall stuff, but we still take time off to catch a breath. like our weekly project 3262. with the almighty toaster we cook foodfor ourselves. together with the boyfriends of cos!! we had cheese tofu, bacon muchrooms, seaweed chicken, mexican chicken..... more to come with the upcoming xiao long bao buffet during recess week and welcome-back-to-school steamboat after recess week!!  and meet ups with the spms og for dragon boat event a few weeks ago, the esf girls for stay over at xiuwen hall, which i end up sleeping =x should have stayed up to watch the movie damn it... and of cos, everyday is spent with the awesome girls+sihui's bf (haha!) during lectures and tutorials!! we clear each other doubts, learn tgt and have funnn :D and i'm thankful to what i have in life now, with lots of stuff to look forward to... even though i didnt get back to omc, i joined DnD which i believe will be a whole lot of different experience altogether.. and with a slightly lighter commitment in this committee, i gave hall prod cast a try. no idea how things would turn out to be, but definitely very excited abt it.. well, before all these, IT'S RECESS WEEK NEXT WEEK (: Tuesday, August 17, 2010 @ 8/17/2010 11:13:00 AM
last week!! its the last week before camp and school starts!! but we need to prep for camp on tues, wed, thurs, probably fri and stay in on sat!! omggggggg... so we decided to enjoy ourselves and spend more 2ppl time (: lunch at jack's place! we always wanted to go but end up eating sth else. this time we went to the one at amk! yup the isolated restaurant besides nlb...the place where my dad n mum always visit for their anniversary hahahhaha... the food is nice and ambience is good! value for money lunch sets :)  we pass by the singapore pools and decided to try our luck... there is this $1/$2/$5/$10 scratch it card.. if there are 3 matching no u get the prize stated. we bought 2 $1 card and won $2.. haha break even.. but after that we bought the $2 card and lost it! sighhh but its quite fun though! cheap thrills (:  caught Love in Disguise at amk hub... the show is abt everyone acting very dramatically to make the show funny.. so chen han dian was definitely a good choice.. but the plot wasnt good.. i think saying this wouldnt be a spoiler but LeeHom met the girl on the road, his car accidentally knocked into her, and guess what she was doing... school startingggggggg! hahah soooooo long since i last blogged again D: lazyyyyyyyyyy... the past weeks were spent like wooooooo! busy but fun!! hall wise we had main comm recce and senior camp, apart from the usual weekly meetings and rehearsals... attended convocation night thanks to wong poh shen! helped with taking photos.. made new friends like pro cameraman Da Zun and the humorous emcee Alvin (:  a small group of the omc people went to shop and eat at johor!! nice food, great company!!  met up with the girls + cheehon for steamboat!! fat qi lai!!  one random day 3 couples + shulin decided to go prawning!! but shu left early... not a bad 1st experience.. but we caught very little prawns hahah!  the family went for some seriously cheap and good food in johor too! thanks to uncle xiang who drove us around.. including going to the mega big Aeon shopping centre plus durian feasting =)  and sadly, we bid farewell to chan meikwan who went back to hongkong to study... WE WILL MISS YOUU!! CYA IN HONGKONG NEXT YEAR ALRIGHT ;D ps: and thanks to xiuwen who sent me to the airport at 430am!  me and keith spent National Day with the country!! many many updates! hellooooooooo! to be honest, i habent been here for the longest time. not exactly busy, but i dont know what i have been doing! 10 weeks since holidays started. fast siol!! well, had been working, doing camp stuff, troubled with hall stuff.. time to stop thinking about all these!! its holidays yo! 10000 things, big big small small have been happening to me and around me. sweet, happy, sad. yes, sweet! goh sihui! u know what i am talking about! :D anw i am really happy for you! i am not so brave when comes to relationship. like, always afraid sth bad will happen. not between us, but from outside. unsure of what people will say. but i guess i should really learn from ch&sh. well, whatever it is, its between us! had been working at creative as a waitress with keith, xj & tik koon, jieshi & bryan, kenneth, jerome, sarene had been fun! but i am eating a lot and a lot everytime D: but i have to say i enjoy going to the different places for their events. expo, esplanade etc.. and i'm going marina bay sands today! :)  with family.. this work of mine is always at night so i spend lesser time dinnering at home ): last weekend we celebrated sis's birthday! she got some free cathay movie vouchers so we all went over to amk hub for ichiban and 枪王之王.. the type of movie daddy loves. but wasnt very good i would say... keith and i drove down to get lychee martini cake @ pine garden 1st before meeting the rest at amk. 1st time keith had dinner with my family. awesomezzz day out (:  i guess i habent been catching up with friends a lot. cos gatherings always falls untimely on work or meeting days... sighhh... the latest 1 i went was with wasat! here's for the sweet couple (:  frens, who are always there (:(: not to forget esf! the bunch of girls whom i know since jc. is it cos of the few meet ups, omg we have so muchhhhh stuff to talk about. really really enjoyed being with them... :D  and yes there's bf! i am glad to have him around. always there to help, share my problems... whenever i just give a random suggestion to go somewhere, he will always try his best to bring me there! we have been going out excessively at night too! roti prata, bedok85 for supper, checking out woodlands waterfront, feast of steak, sakae buffet, ice cream, movie, going to airoirt etc etc...  and yes we always go for sth more special every month... or rather, reserve the day for time tgt... we went to tony romas at orchard hotel last month... followed by a spin around town (:  omg i think this post is rather disorganised. there are so many things i did, so many photos in the cam. i need a hard disk to store them all. seriously! and i hope i get back to the blogging mode.. but u can always catch me on my facebook mobile uploads :DD Sunday, May 09, 2010 @ 5/09/2010 08:54:00 PM

moving out! moved my stuff from hall back home today.. goodbye 8-2-122!! a room filled with lotsa memories...  drove out for brunch at adam's 1st den back hall for the moving out frenzyyyyyy.. the sun was still shining ji brightly den pls.. but it started raining like crazy when we started moving! give up using the umbrella and used it to cover the stuff only. we were like totally drenched. but well, at least we had fun :D  and so, the rain stopped after we showered and were going abt to leave for home... look at the amt of stuff we managed to squeeeeeeeze into the car..   but dang it rained again when we reached woodlands. good job, weather! :D lucky it wasnt too heavy.. but we were too rushed to go for Everything with Fries at Holland V. post exams happenings!!! (: 2 days after finals ended.. and it was shioooooook ttm :D    on the day exams were officially over, a few of us headed to timber @arthouse. the place was not bad, the legendary duck pizza which not bad indeed! chee hon said the band there on that day was good, but we were so busy talking that we didnt really pay attention to it..  kbox @cineleisure the next day. 12 ppl turned up! woohooo.. it was a day of laughter seriously... mel was funny when the korean song mv was played.. we had a good time teasing chee hon =x and promoting eugene's good singing. haha wait till his fb fanclub is up! lol... dinner was at the hamburger @313 somerset. nice! interesting cutlery as well. spent a good time talking about everything.. shiok!! i'm looking forward to senior's camp alr! :) more activities lined up.. ip man 2 with the hall ppl.. moving out from hall next week. i think i will take super long to clear up can. i tried this afternoon and wasnt even halfway done. omggggg i always pack a little, fb a while. how! haha... ok and here i am, waiting to go bedok 85 for bak chor mee supper :D had been craving for it since the round island trip pls... fat qi lai!! :):) Thursday, April 29, 2010 @ 4/29/2010 02:16:00 AM

 realise that this is the kind of time, before exams, that i will think of random thoughts and stuff, just cos the brain dont feel like studying :D from 1 of the random drama i watched the last time ( i always cant seem to complete any serials), someone said, love is like looking for the best stone. when you are already holding on to one, you have to let go of it before you can take the other. how true is that. and as humans, we would keep searching, thinking that we would get a better one later. that had quite a great impact on me. but recently, from what i see, from ppl around me, i learn, that the keyword is to be contented. when you are disgruntled, when you feel that you dun have what people have, you will always be unhappy. how about things that you have? it may be hard to see, but its there. cherish, or it would be gone before you know... but i'm glad, and i'm happy with everything that is happening now, and all the stuff i have. studies may be sian, but i know they will be over soon. there may still be unhappy stuff, but time will solve it right? i guess so. and i hope so. what happened has already happened. stop brooding over them. now, its time to move on.... for the past 1 month... its been 1 month since i last posted! oh man ok i'm not that busy but just slacking, until xiuwen msn-ed me why i haben been posting. den i realised i still have a blog here! life's been great. lesser of comm stuff (ie. no deadlines, but still had to take part in events). pace was slower, i got more time to prepare for tests, sleep slightly earlier. oh ya its been a test month, but its gonna be exams month next! =s hall stuff, like round island eating trip,international night, hall apreciation dinner, run round spore, meetings etc etc had been keeping me busy for the month!!  long overdue meet up with esf at ntu sakae. a pity i could only be with them for a short while. more after exams!! =)  went for nusco concert. been very very long since i last met the co ppl!  and thanks to someone who had been with me through the happy and unhappy days (:  exams coming in the next month. moving out of hall in early may. its gonna be busyyyy!! so i guess the next update will be after exams :)) |
