updates RECESS WEEK IS HERE! alrights it might be a week of mugging for mid terms, but there's still more life den that! just a brief recap of stuff i did during the hiatus... mugging! 113 had 2 graded test before recess week, esp de 7% 1, with lots of mechanisms and reactions to memorise. still rmb the late night mugging at macs. and we skipped 111 to study. and thats our room when we were doing last min revision.  alvin birthday celeb! a long time since i last met up with the njco ppl. and we went to vivo to celebrate alvin's birthday. minghan brought his dslr and he was like just trying to shoot spas photo la haha! looking forward to more meetups with them :)  gerald's 22nd birthday! yay we celebrated with a bbq at sihui's house :D preparation took less than a week and most of the stuff we manage to get them done on the day itself. super impromptu. we also forced every1 to come in pink! yay yay the guys (except gerald) had to try really hard to stick to the dress code. but the turnout was great (abt 98% of keroro went haha!) and we had fun chatting till lke midnight, and de hall ppl plus edwin continued at rulong's hall till morning!   visiting xiangling! a long time since me fen and xiangling last met up. we laughed and joked around, and i hope things will just stay de way it is always... anw we played with the kid that xiangling's mum was taking care of. super cute. but she's scared of my braces:( anw hope everything is fine for xiangling!! :)  hall2 night cycling! 1st night cycling i ever joined with omc 10/11 :) we went over can13 for dinner 1st before registration and the korean food was good! we started at ecp, went bedok tamp den back to ecp. it started out really funny, chatting along the way and the guys trying to corner me cos i'm not a pro cyclist. lol. but it started to get really tiring, or rather every1s butt was aching like nobody's biz! damn bad. there were super many food stops la omg the fats gained > burnt :(   suppers and impromptu meetups! me and fen had been going for suppers and impromptu meetups with, the usual group of ppl.. yst i was at my cousin's house mahjonging (of which i lost 60cents!) when shufen called and in the evening, we found ourselves in bugis! lol... had nice food and desserts though! :)  week ahead.. today- shopping at ion orchard after dental + settle biz mag stuff.. tues+wed- meetup with my ex boss 1 day for a meal plus mugging in hall.. thurs- sco concert at nanyang audi with sihui and fen.. fri- keroro outing at some board games cafe cum mid autumn celeb.. sat- mid autumn celeb with njco ppl... woohoo looking forward! :) Monday, September 21, 2009 @ 9/21/2009 11:30:00 PM
friends i always think its fate, for 2 ppl to meet amongst the crowd, the many many ppl in the world, and become friends. especially the kind of friends whom you can talk with regarding everything under the sun. these few days i have this encounter, with 2 different friends. 1 of them was somebody whom i'm this close to losing. someone whom we used to talk a lot and a lot, but now, we can no longer talk like before. i feel like always standing outside the circle. but i tried. my best to step in. but everytime i feel like i'm pushed out again. and this kind of feeling is really bad. i'm really disappointed with how things turn out to be. another friend is some1 really close to the heart. we never fail to end up laughing, and thats how happy we were tgt. but because of how far we are always apart, we start to lose contact... until that day when she told us she was just discharged from hospital, and told us not to worry abt her. and the thing is, i dun even have her home contact, her house address. i didnt know wat she have been doing for the past few months, not to say how she spent her week in the hospital. it was heart breaking to hear her weak voice over the phone. no more laughing, couldnt even find energy to smile. and thats how lousy a friend i am. instead of taking time to treasure ppl i have around me. what have i been doing? what have i been busy with? bothered abt a friend who cant be bothered abt me? i'm feeling really upset now. like long since i felt this way. and i hope she really gets well soon. Hall 2 DnD~ Twisted Fairytales! ok after so long, i'm finally posting the photos taken for my hall's Dnd@ Novotel Clarke Quay. The theme was twisted fairytale and my OG decided to dress up as black hercules! :D ok let the photos do the talking! 1stly, take a look at me and my dear neighbour! fen and gina's og is twisted schooltales so they cross-dressed as ah bengs! oh man..  with the girls in my OG.. we were so pretty that day in our black toga! shiying the pageant contestant was very pretty too ;)  the guys.. they kept saying they were very cold haha! oh and my buddy is the pageant contestant! he looks really good that day lol :)  with the guys in fen's og. i'm now the fren of jakas man cos i know most of them already. and the guys crossed dressed as ah lian omg. so chio! 090909!  i bet everyone has been talking about the 9th of sept 09 yst. it was really special cos its my first time living in hall, and on this special day, i celebrated it with a group of special ppl, whom i know for only 1 month but felt like years... actually there was nth special, lecture in the morning afternoon, dinner with RE friends at jurong point followed by grand debrief of all de hall committees (they discussed abt ALL the events organised for de year during the meeting. but i insisted that its not any other day so rulong, gerald and sherry who stay in hall cum eugene our chauffeur decided to take me and fen out. lol. they waited till our meeting end and off we went to mount faber to lax chill. the view there was not bad and we talked about things like going overseas since there are these arrows pointing to different directions. den we went over to henderson waves. super alot ppl despite being like midnight already. after that we drove over to the prata stall beside fong seng and we had 1 plaster and 1 plain prata each at like 230am! madness. came back hall and caught a few hours of sleep before the morning lecture. shiok ah! give me some time and i think i'll be abe to get over everything. keeping busy is a good way to shun away from thinking unnecessarily. in hall this weekend.. this weekend would be spent mostly in hall.. overnight tonight cos there is maths make up lecture tml!! 3 hours.. but nvm we are having Macdonalds breakfast before that :D anw today when we stepped out of our room for lecture fen spotted this on our door. LOL done by my hall OG ppl. so nice rite!  after lessons me and fen decided to try out the washing machine here for the 1st time, since we have very little time to go home this week. but we only washed the hall clothes. and its not bad. me fen and sihui were like 3 xiang ba laos figuring how to use the washing machine and looking at it start to wash. LOL. the point is that after we hang out the clothes we realised how colourful is mine and how dull is fen's. crazy neighbours hello! shufen is taking a 15min power nap now before we go and meet the rest for lecture later, so here i am, posting the photos that me fen and gina took using mac yst night =) the pic i love the most! =D  blur geeks..  2 macho men + 1 pretty girl ..  retro retro geeks..  feeling quite sad now cos i screwed up my 1st chem test.. arghhh and seriously i feel like i'm not like myself these 2 weeks. i realised its been a long time since i'm like that, since sec school it think.. and i start to feel how childish i am, how i think too much and look too much into certain things. and sometimes, i do get irritated with myself, for not being able to handle my own emotions well.. aww i hope after everything, i'll learn to be more mature. yili's birthday!  hello! the week started with yili birthday celebration! claire and mk came over to NTU and we surprised her at her hall room =)) me and xiuwen who were doing the balloon deco.. 1 of this mega big balloon burst and for a moment i thot i was deaf! haha.  xiuwen tying de balloon!  me and de mega big balloon, but seriously i didnt do much. she was doing all de job. LOL.  the birthday cake.  xj and de surprised birthday girl..  after some random chatting we headed to xj's hall 4. it seems a bit... old school la. retro retro like those u see on tv. den we went to hall5 canteen for steamboat! super super full and only cost $5 each. plus we didnt managed to finish all de food... alrights hope de birthday girl enjoyed her day!! =DD the weather now is super cooling. great since i'm going for a run later @9pm... 在对的时间遇见错的人, 在错的时间遇见对的人... |
