i-n-c-r-e-d-i-b-l-e last week was incredible! i'm glad i went past another yet so busy week! =) monday: prep for arts stuff to present during meeting. met up with the seniors to skrink the keychain and draw the folder. like an AC101 mod! tues: doing keychains for sales in hall3. the idea just came the day before and we gathered ppl to help us. but the other biz mags were not ard. hoho. but glad i had a new found brother that night haha! changfei! wed: internal garang guni, going ard to collect stuff fromt the blocks in hall. followed by meeting into late night.... thurs: coordinating of an omc job. discussing with the other biz mag of the catalogue for v day and doing it.. fri: went home after lecture. met some1 buy surprise on the way back! pure coincidence.. went home and over napped! almost late for usher job but luckily i received a life saving msg:) the usher job was so lame, just standing there to smile and pose like a statue. no dinner until 10+pm when we went newton food ctre for supper :D saturday: teaching tuition, coming back hall to help move stuff to lorry. and went out for supper in the lorry! sunday: the bomb. actual garang guni outside. shag ttm. weather super hot. my cgl went off halfway for soccer match. was left alone to lead the team... but the seniors and new made friends were really nice. 2 even came to ask if i need subcom ;) too bad biz mag no need subcom eh... came back and edit v day catalogue till late.... yet another busy week ahead :) Sunday, January 17, 2010 @ 1/17/2010 01:15:00 PM
1st week of school! its been an oh-so-tiring but fun week! shifted back to hall on tues after the long holiday and boy, i cant get used to the bed here again! esp when i stupidly forgot to bring my blanket back after washing. dang! haha. flyer distribution at the blocks outside school for our comm's garang guni. and i didnt realised i was paired up with the hall prince. lol! cos my cgl was having training.. it was fun yet scary when sometimes we have to split up to distribute in the ulu blocks. and of cos supper at extension where i discovered the oily but yummilicious oyster ommelette :) wed was a short day, but not anymore since i got mps811 which means lessons in the afternoon. walked back hal with edwin the funny senior who like to say things that are meant to be taken 'skin deep'. lol but he and pohshen sure helped a lot in the mod choosing stuff! slacked in hall and in the evening went to support huaming in his squash match. finally get to know better how the sports is played and we won! woohoo! jogging with gerald after that. like since how long can! but stamina was cui ttm =x and then was the usual random chatting which ends up the day :) friday met up with swiss clique and had ajisen for dinner. felicia as usual likes to whack ppl from the back :(, charlie ever so irritating, and goh sihui as act cute as ever! haha. and thanks to them for the belated bday celeb for me and sihui :)  and the weekend is spent in hall for omc! :) yesterday was alumni night. tried out the stations, played around before the event started. was in charge of the beer mug station but basically its meant for ppl to win their chips there. after the event ended we went for supper at extension, again. laughing all the way and slept at like 2+... but ok la its just the 1st week of school :) videoshoot today.. woke up quite late.. guess i look spas when doing the visa dance just now. haha. portfolio shoot later and then i need to go for tuition in the evening.. next week is no better.. internal and external garang guni, making of samples for v day sales... jiayou :) Wednesday, January 13, 2010 @ 1/13/2010 12:06:00 AM
new school term  lessons officially starting tomorrow, or rather today, later at 8am. and i'm really glad for that. the 1month break was surprisingly more than enough. i did lots of things i wanted, and feel really light now. imagine, what i did in 1 month of holiday. batam trip with hall ppl. penang trip with family. day and nightshoot for omc. canvassing (teacher for origami, waitress, camp coach for a 3d1n camp). meetup with friends (esf, njco, xiangling). relax, and more relax. and probably a lot more, happy activities. they were good enough for me to remember, and yet to forget the unhappy :) now, i'm all prepped up for school. i promise, to be a better student. to sleep earlier, making late nights a more random thing to the best of my ability. to prepare myself before lesson, printing my notes and hopefully some reading. to enjoy my omc hall stuff, and do my best for it. and there are plans for tomorrow. after lessons at 1230, i'll finish printing what i need for the week. call some companies for canvassing. probably over to src to support huaming's match. hopefully some tutorials when i'm free. wow, i'm really satisfied with the schedule i have, thanks to the good break :):) Saturday, January 09, 2010 @ 1/09/2010 08:57:00 PM
my first week of 2010 its finally the end of the week. as i look back on all the stuff i did, i feel proud of myself. i made it!! (: waitressing at shuang yuan on mon and tues. photo still with shufen. it was an interesting experience. and definitely nice to work with a big group of ur frens. huihao and jieshi on monday night. fen, jac, huihao jieshi, keith on tues morning. better understanding of how the waiters feel like. thanks to our super nice lady boss, we got to try the nice food as well! 5 of the earlier shift ppl stayed to eat on monday, and it was much better with them around (: nightshoot on tues night at lau pa sat.  thanks to sis for the makeup!! was very tired so couldnt really smile. hoped the photos turn out good.. and thats the pic of ppl in my OG. Yeak'm. HAHA! gotta work with them for the rest of the year till camp! and i was learning cheers for the whole night in preparation for camp the next day...camp coach at st marg. camp trainer. kinda of worried at first, but soon turned out ok. the girls sure know lots of cheers and were hyper. walked around lots of places with them at sentosa on the first day. shag! after that still went back school for meeting at night. after a few hours of sleep caught a taxi to take 174 at boonlay.. 2nd day was no better, dragon boating and i was initially dry, until our coordinator jeff came and poured a whole bucket of water on me! lol.. sentry duty at 4am at night. couldn sleep in the super cold hall without sleeping bag. haiz. oh ya i spelled it as century duty!! hahahaha. i really couldnt put up a high energy level look cos i was too tired. didnt get to enjoy the camp fully... hope if there happens to be a next time, i can do it better!! school starting next week!! :) Saturday, January 02, 2010 @ 1/02/2010 02:38:00 PM
hello 2010!  as usual, there should be some stuff to look forward to in the new year. what we call new year resolutions. i want to be much more independent this year. i want to balance my work and manage my time well. i want to spend more effort and time on studies as well, though this sem could be hard becos its gonna be busy in omc.. i want to stand up for what i know i am right in. sometimes its about me too! no more tolerating and makes myself upset =/ i want to, as usual, spend time with my friends and family (: i want to lead life happily, the way i want it to be (: alright i might not be able to fulfil all, but at least i have sth to work along with. heh. but before the whole year, i need to get pass next week 1st. ultra packed week of canvassing for fund. mon-tues: working as waitress. haha! but i gonna miss the keroro new year celeb :( tues night: omc nightshoot. oh man i haben prepared my kpop outfit! wed-fri: camp coordinator for a sec2 outdoor camp! sat: alumni night 2010's kicking starting on a really busy note (: Friday, January 01, 2010 @ 1/01/2010 09:00:00 PM
goodbye 2009!  every year is special, so is 2009... this year, half of it was led like an adult, out in the working world.. from an admin assistant in f&n coke to a recruitment consultant in RE, each were great experiences where i met wonderful ppl and learnt a great deal. it was through these i learnt to be more independent, and perhaps more courageous. life lessons learnt before i proceed on with my studies. entered university with a bang. people in school and hall were all nice and made uni life much easier than expected. of cos, keroro ppl, the bo tak cek gang. we always look out for one another, go for lunches and dinners tgt, print notes for one another, go to lessons together. of cos we shared lots of fun and laughter tgt. without them, i really have no idea how the sem would have been. i really hope that next sems and sems to come, there wouldnt be much changes to these, even though i know its going to be very hard... hall omc ppl. with them, there is never-ending laughters. these ppl are just too fun and funny. lol! honestly speaking, i didnt think too much into anything. i just treat them as ppl i can really click well with and laugh tgt. i guess in near future i would really need them, when there is nth to do in hall or when i think, my room is too crowded, but yet do not want to be alone. i never expect things to take for a change recently, but i just hope all will turn out well in the end. for friends, i made new ones, became closer to some old ones and drift off from others. i guess this is part and parcel of life, give and take, cos this is the limited time we can have. yes 10 years of friendship with my roomie. well we all know, the only constant is change. from the start of the sem we were closer than before becos, after the jc period when we didnt really stay tgt, there was really a difference. we do basically everything tgt. go to school, meet keroro ppl, go for hall stuff, eat sleep shit tgt heh. and the smart her is always there to teach me. thanks for that! den towards the end of the sem, well there are some changes la. but i hope we can still stay as close as before.. and thats 6 years of frenship with sihui. looking back, i think we were childish. we just laugh like madness over small things. BUT, we just love it the way we were haha! and of cos, thanks to her for always being there to hear what i have to say, listen to my grumbles. thanks girl!! lets continue to enjoy next sem and the year ahead! =) 6 years of friendship with dear xiangling as well. sometimes its easy to forget the people when they are not around u. but its hard to forget this girl. she's always smiling when u see her and does sweet things as well. its not that we have endless stuff to say, but that even not saying anything, u woudnt feel awkward. thats hard to find isnt it. definitely more meetups to come, and hope she stays healthy always!! 6 years of friendship as well with the swiss clique. i was really shock when charlie, chuan fa and kevin came over to my hall during my bday to celebrate. it really feels good to have these ppl that care.. well charlie, i'll tell u more stuff next time if u come over and crash or sth. lol.. 3 years of friendship with the girls in esf. still doing the random stupid stuff, but definitely more hthts since we are separated in different schools. and i'm glad yili and xiuwen are just in hall8, ppl whom i can get to see easily, and always welcome me. thanks girl, may the new year be a great 1 for us. and yes, more stayovers ;) and last but not least, 3 years of friendship with the njco ppl. its hard to organise gatherings for so many ppl given the different schedules, and i'm 1 of the person always not present, but these nice ppl just dun bear grudges. and its just comfortable to be around them. thats good enough. more seniors leaving army and might see them in school :) oh well, such a long post. coming sem gonna be a really busy 1. i hope i can manage well and breeze through it (: 2010 gonna be a good 1!!! |
