i m so happy todae!! =) early in the morning i met sum1 familiar.. guess who.. weilun!! my primary school friend.. he studying in hwa chong so we took the same bus 961.. chat and chat so much abt our old frens and everyting.. realli miss my priamary school friends!! the day pass faster den usual.. cos its fridae!! so i hurried out of njc to take bus to buy sth... den head for swiss.. so troublesome man.. called ms lim alot of times to ask if i can go in.. and she had to call ms ng and mr jason lim before i can go in!! crazy sia... saw my new juniors.. now i m their super super super seniors.. 4 new pipa players but 1 is not confirm.. aft that they go thru chi new yr songs.. and i was singing the cai shen dao with ms ong.. super funny... haha.. and tml i still can go back co!! yay-ness.. was abt to go home when i saw swiss soccer team playing friendly with UWC (united world college) at the field.. we lost.. 2-0.. but i m sure they were dead tired playing from 4+ to 6+.. they did a nice job!!! and the UWC ppl all bigger in size cos they angmoh.. though i find the no 11 quite handsome, but i cant stand the girls from our school who went up after the game to shake hands with the UWC ppl.. like go crazy and chase their bus til the gate.. can at least show some concern to ur own schoolmates not??? sumore the guys dun fly from australia.. they study in s'pore!! on the bus 187 home, saw guai lan didi!! super happy.. haha.. he and his friends r fun la.. hear all my bhbs.. 1 of his fren also went shanghai de.. saw him but dunno his name.. now i know is yongxiang.. still got other 2 frens -- fast runner haiqal (duno how to spell) and very shy de bryan.. oh btw, HAPPY BIRTHDAE to godson junda =) Thursday, January 25, 2007 @ 1/25/2007 09:03:00 PM
i was late todae!! =( 1st time in my schooling life, i m actually late for school.. by abt 5 min.. but know wat, i alredi left home 1 1/2 hr before reporting time.. cos i waited 20 min for stupid 912.. and cos the bus was so crowded and stop at every bus stops, it took such a long time.. but 30+ ppl were late.. haha.. all trapped at the grandstand.. the 2 co seniors also on the same bus as me.. they also live in woodlands.. so for the past 2 co prac we had been going home tgt.. once is take 961 and another time share cab.. taxi only need 15 min to reach woodlands man, compared to abt 1hr of bus.. btw they r pro ppl can.. 1 is pipa grade 6 and another is dizi grade 7.. but they r relli nice ppl.. great muscians 2 =) wilson told me 1 time late = 5 cip... omg.. but 1 time is 20 min.. thats the new law.. how unlucky can i be to be late aft the new law is made... haiz.. i m real busy these few days.. and i hate it!! everyday lecture and tutorials.. free time do homework... i thot 1st 3 months shud be slack de?? but every1 in my class all very guai.. hand in on time.. so we end up doing homework tgt during the free periods.. den tues and weds got co.. prac from 5 to 8.30 and 3.30 to 8.30 respectively... so by the time i reach home is 10+ (if didn share cab with snrs)... its really an exact verion of jc life can... tiring!! tml wana go back scco.. c the new batch of juniors.. thats the most exciting thing ya.. haha.. but now school damn strict le.. wear school uniform also cant go in.. so ms lim ask me to sign up as cca volunteer.. y dun let us go back?? we cum back cos we miss the school!! =( Friday, January 19, 2007 @ 1/19/2007 09:33:00 PM
just now i thot abt alot of things.. my past and present.. felt like i had been on a smooth train ride all the way.. in pri4, my english which had always been constant B became A... so i didn hab to opt to get in to em1.. pri 6, i wanted to just get to the same sec school as sis, out of woodlands.. and i did it.. sec2, i wanted to get into the best class, so i chose triple science.. but my science wasnt good at all, but i still managed to scrape thru.. sec 4, i just wanted to try my luck and put 1st choice nj, and i managed to be a borderline case to get in.. no opt, no appeal, my life had been this smooth.. so when i c another junction infront, i am relli afraid.. wat if my train ride is going to make a big turn, no longer the 1 i enjoy... no longer the smooth journey.. it gets really scary... mum tells me.. there r ups and downs in life.. wat we can do is to face it.. but wat if i had not really had a taste of the 'downs'?? wat if the inexperienced me cant cope with them in time?? wat if... so now I can just wait for things to happen to me... cos I relli dunno wat will happen to me the next few months... or even the next few days or sec.. life has its way of torturing ppl.. yet make them learn from these.. so we dunno whether to hate or love it.. we can just... accept it... @ 1/19/2007 08:55:00 PM
went back swiss todae... its such a familiar place to me can.. was smiling all the way when i saw swiss on the bus and walked there after alighting.. so many memories brought back.. and true enuf, even the unhappy things in the past were things worth laughing over.. i relli miss swiss... ^^side track abit, i saw mr jeffrey yoong.. the english teacher who only taught me for abt 1 yr.. but he rmb me.. and said: "hey, u r back!!" i was totally shock cos i wasnt those hyper active student in class.. and asked him y he rmb me.. and guess wat he said.. "of cos!! u r shang fei rite!! i hab photographic memory!!".. though its quite funny to say so.. but i am relli touched... cos HE RMB MY NAME!! which rarely anybody did in nj.. tink most of them hear and forget.. back to co.. the new juniors were choosing their instruments.. was brought back to the time i 1st came to co... rmb it was still the old co room and pipa was allocated at the place nearest to the door... and i chose it.. rmb the time i saw 1 batch and another of new juniors.. most of them later became my close friends or at least ppl i feel so comfortable with.. followed mdm xu to the staff room to get my prize.. mr mak went home le.. so the 3 co teachers asked me to grab his chair and chat.. they were all busy.. so i was like entertaining them.. and we made the staff room so noisy.. haha..abit shocked to know we tok and tok non-stop for nearly 1h... its still the best with our swiss co teachers!! yay-ness =) this is the 1st time i relli feel like saying from the bottom of my heart, swiss is the best!! went photographic society todae with jason.. he so familiar with the school due to some reasons tt i shall not elaborate.. so he would always be the 1 leading us around and directing the way for me.. haha.. the people there are very friendly and amicable.. had hands on the various kinds of camera for different functions and went to the dark room to c the person wash photo... damn cool.. and they say u can wash photo there for free, but is black and white de la.. after the whole session they even treat us to tidbits... they claim to be the richest cca cos they hab 1/2 a million every year to buy equipments and $2000 just for student welfare (eg party)... haha.. tml having co from 4.30 to 8.. but my lessons end at 2... so free la.. and by the time i reach home already 9++ le.. shall hab supper instead of dinner... =( Sunday, January 14, 2007 @ 1/14/2007 03:11:00 PM
lazy sunday.. last sunday for me to slack le.. orientation had officially ended and now its time to face how life in njc would be.. lectures, tutorials and ccas are going to start from tml.. i signed up for quite some ccas for their trials.. photographic society had called me and there would be a meeting tml.. they r bringing us to the dark room.. co starts this tues and its on tues, wed and fri... cldds would most prob hold a meeting on thurs as according to wat they had said.. so my whole week would be packed with activities.. YEA, like shuli say, u will feel damn guilty when every1 is busy but u r the only 1 to leave home early.. Day 5 orientation - SUPER DUPER HIGH + FUN + tired last day.. morning we had inter mass dance competition.. shud be war games but it was postponed to later cos of the heavy rain.. torres won the overall 2nd!! *cheers* den was the war games.. still raining so gotta play in the linkway... totally a water bomb game.. keep hitting me and was very pain la.. but was fun though... my shoes and pants were totally wet.. had session with our civics tutor, mr zax.. he's a bio teacher but his session was totally abt how akido changed his life and akido and akido.. lol.. he was so carried away toking abt his life tt he even wanted to bring us to bali to surf.. lol... went to coronation plaza to buy things for dinner.. bbq cancelled due to the rain.. so we ordered 8 pizzas and went to buy tidbits.. our pizzas were damn late!! cos every1 ordering.. den tink the canadian pizza got all messed up.. ours is the last og to get our pizza.. while waiting we did lotsa cheers and our house captain han ern came tok to us.. abt history of S24 and lots.. he damn hyper and nice la... the dance party was the finale and was damn cool can.. invited professional djs, had disco lights, smoke and everything u can find in a disco is there in the hall.. everybody dance crazily to the music.. the whole programme was great.. at the end we sang 1 of the school song- national dream.. surprised tt i rmb ALL the lyrics.. and we cheered like mad after the whole thing ended.. losing my voice.. tiring but fun.. all these marks the end to the fun days of the 1st 3 months... Day 4 orientation - mass dances + clan outing.. had 2 sessions of mass dance and finally finish learning all 3 dances.. the 1 tt is taught every year is super cute and much much more easy la.. haha... in between the 2 sessions is lunch and clan bonding... OG26 WON THE BEST IN INTER-OG CHEER COMPETITION!*cheer!* told ya we will win, cos we were super loud can.. the committee came up with the bidding session.. each grp had 100 pt to bid for 9 items.. but we only hab clues of wat it is but not exactly wat the thing is.. in the end we bid 1 cup of water and 1 bottle of peach tea.. did YAM-SENG after the session... abt 4 pm release... meeting ogls at 5pm to go torres outing tgt... nth to do so play badminton with des2 and huiqi they all.. den went down canteen extension play those 'who wat huh izit' etc games with the girls.. den left for KAP de mac.. 1 other clan also in the mac.. but lucky the place very very big.. was there from 6-9pm.. played lotsa games like the pouring water game.. lose de ppl must do forfeit.. all OGs were playing among themselves so there were lotsa crazy forfeit.. the most omg 1 is 1 guy must suddenly go kiss another guy from another OG... damn crazy.. c ppl kiss here kiss there.. and our OG also had those like seduce ronald macdonald, do mass dance infront of every1, kiss the man in the poster... damn funny la... but always hab complains tt we too noisy... so tired now... tml gonna be worse... final day... got dance party and bbq until 10pm... wahhh... Day 3 orientati0n -- external hunt in chinatown, little india and pasir ris... met up with the og at chinatown mrt at 7.40am.. was too early cos reach earlier den 7.30... saw our couple ogl in the mrt and was damn paiseh... when everybody came we head for mac for breakfast... the ogls say they do scientific experiment with us but all turned out to be trick games... lol.. the 1st task was to split the group into 2 and compete with each other... the group stand on the poncho and ruen it over.. the poncho damn small la... but the other group damn clever and won.. but to find stations need to walk a lot... same thing for little india.. but we took too long to find the places.. and the 1 in tekka mall was omg.. pass the pocky which the ogls break to only abt 2+cm.. pity those that pass to boys.. heez.. lunch in tekka market... was looking at the bubble tea menu with joannah when des1, des2, cheepeng and jason offered to treat us.. cos there is an offer, buy 2 get 1 free.. and they treat us the free 1s... wow.. thanks lots!! had wanton mee.. joannah isnt good in chinese.. so she said the dumplings were zhu1 jiao3.. funny like siao la.. hehe.. headed to pasir ris.. which was like so far.. chat with kim, yilin kailing and tamy all the way.. yilin and kim are ip students so they told us alot abt the ip ppl and njc... reach pasir ris park.. alredi 2+.. hab to reach njc at 3.30pm de... so we only hab 1 station.. which is every1 climb that spider rope thing and take a pic.. waited for the bus to go back mrt and our ogl teach us the couple game.. damn fun.. didn wana leave when the bus come.. den realise the bus packed with ppl from other og... but we were late, so walked toward the mrt while waiting for the bus.. our ogls teach us the school song and national dream [njc 2 school song.. anthem is malay 1.. still got another nice english song with is sung on tues and thurs]... finally bus came and i tink abt 3 ogs squeeze in 1 bus... wow-ness.. packed like sardine... like njc oei cheerin the bus.. haha.. reach mrt station but very late le.. michelle kim xueern audrey sijia and i sat tgt.. play alot of trick games like those 'ji zhi meh meh tiao guo qu game'.. focus is not exactly on the game but on the person.. so learn lots like "how many angels fly up", "black magic" , "fuzzy wuzzy" etc etc.. and every1 in the class were like playing these games to kill time.. very late reach njc.. abt 4+ going 5.. but we were not the last og.. den debrief.. walked to bus stop with joannah and kailing... made a new friend lingyan from S14.. chat and chat on the bus ride 961.. have sum pics of my og and frens but stupid blogger got problem again.. shall post them next time.. Day 2 orientation. SUPER FUN. -OG26 is the best!!- had station games. shud be 16 games but not enuf time in 3h.. i participated in almost all.. volunteered myself for the watermelon eating competition.. 8 ppl supposed to eat half the watermelon as clean as possible.. with no seeds or juice on the table... we digged and eat until we can break the melon.. and took any piece we can c.. so sum1 could hab eaten b4.. des2 sacrifice his shirt to wipe the juice and seeds, but he wore back the shirt again.. eekingly fun.. heez.. and we won!! OG 26 roX!! and there is this game each side the competing member slide on the benches topped with soap and water and play scissors paper stone.. i nearly won sia.. so at the end we were all dirty and wet cos of those water games.. damn fun.. and cheered like siao.. clan bonding of torres was great.. learn cheers.. our og damn loud.. house master gave that omg expression everytime we cheered during the inter og comp... cos we also very high pitch.. hehe.. mass dance.. couldn really rmb the steps of the last half part we learned yst... and learned a new dance - public affair.. easier, i tink.. and more easy to rmb.. cos not as rush this time.. after release met up with clarice and went for shower.. damn shiok... but still got 1 hour to the co meeting.. chat and chat... co meeting nth much, just some briefing and c them prac set piece.. prac starts next week... haiz.. will be reaching home at 9+ le.. tml is external hunt... it starts at 8.30am at chinatown for our og.. there are other location like WOODLANDS!! was praying so hard tt our og is tt there.... haiz.. but will meet at 7.45 to hab breakfast with og 26 tgt... it getting more and more fun!! yeah!! =) Monday, January 08, 2007 @ 1/08/2007 05:47:00 PM
Day 1 orientation in njc... seperated into our civics class for orientation.. thats good cos u get to bond with the ppl in ur class for the next 2 or 3 months.. but u have to start making friends all over again... my class: 07S24.. which is OG26.. cos IP students joined us.. and terra clan (green house)... its the last class u know.. sian... ppl in my class all take the same combi as me but they still take H1 physics... i am so odd la, only person with 9 units... heck.. they started with a dance performance of each clan.. illustrating how the different clan (which is also different countries) turned from tribal to modern.. great job and effort man.. the dances were great... [terra is australia] realised that joannah, clarice's best friend is in my class too.. great, finally 1 person i know... den found out tt my primary school friend vivian also in the same class.. haha... den went for bonding session.. 28 names to rmb + 5 ogls... head almost cracked... mass dance was a total squeezy period.. danced a song from the high school musical.. damn, shud hab watched b4 returning to xinyi.. but last holiday no time.. and it was sure a long 1... so many dance steps to rmb.. and there's a time constraint.. so practically rushed thru everyting towards the back... and the hall was indeed too small to hold the 2 clans( if i m not wrong)... wats more, there are 3 songs... 1 of it is the njc 1 which even the alumni joined in the fun.. haha.. but todae only learn 1.. clan bonding after lunch was in the LT... supposed to guess sec school of the ogls.. who would later change to their sec school uniform to reveal the answer... think vannessa's OG won.. hehe... head for bus stop after debrief... saw another primary school friend peixian!! she in IJ... but accompany her mum to fetch her bro in hwa chong international... had a long chat with her cos the 961 bus ride was 45 min... managed to get to know more info abt primary school friends, cos quite alot in her school... this week gonna be a tiring 1!!! went back swiss yst.. to give ninet and xiangling present.. ninet is cos her birthdae... hope they like their presents!! den went to have kfc at westmall with peiming fen ninet xiangling waeting and junda... yea! finally get to eat zinger... haha.. abit boring now.. so suddenly feel like blogging abt my fun fun penang trip... so miss penang!! only get to go back there once a year... sad ya =(.. but the pics are taken in cameron highland la... cos 1st time go there... the drive from penang there was ard 3h.. 3 cars went comprising of 3rd aunt family, my family, xiao jiu family, xiao yi family and da jiu family, da yi n da yi zhang.. fold straw stars along the way.. heez.. and stop by places like pi li dong temple... temple in a natural cave...  cameron highland is really a cool place.. as in the temp is quite cold la.. like aircon... and its a green place filled with nth but strawberry farm.. cold temp good for growing strawberry mah... so ppl also call it strawberry land... and stopped by alot of the farms b4 we reach the apartment we rented.. in the apartment, mum and aunts brought lots of things to hab steamboat in the cold weather!! great ya...  credits to all my niece nephew and sista... the trip was so fun cos of them!!  den, how can forget abt me and sis!!  oh ya, me, moi n myself!! haha..  to ensure my en3 is not dry and uninteresting.. let me upload sum spastic pics.. haha.. big big strawberry in 1 of the farms.. and i m trying to have a taste of it.. hee..  large cactus in 1 of the garden.. ouch!!!  shall end here... still gota wait for 1 more yr to going back penang!! arghh!! 3rd day in njc.. had cca carnival just now... shall blog abt my thots till now in seperately.. cca saw shuli in the hall... sorry forget her name.. abit paiseh cos she rmb mine, think becos of tt yan jiang competition.. and she joined 3 ccas - table tennis, cldds and another.. forget.. and she advise me to take 1 hiong cca and another not so hectic 1.. so the portfolio will be nicer.. agree with her.. so went around looking for cca.. lucky the chinese orchestra only 2 pipa.. and the senior say sure can get to syf, cos they in need of ppl.. only 57 now.. was at 1st worried their co sure got alot of ppl cos njc also got ip students.. but they say the ip ppl keep changing cca de, wunt stay with them.. went around with lixian and clarice to other ccas.. also left my names for photography, cldds, greenlink... not compulsory to join, just need to go try out for 1 meeting.. heard some ppl try all cca den settle for 1.. haha.. just go try and hab fun lor.. since the rest not much commitment compared to co.. wanted to try canoeing, but since i decided to take co, shudn commit myself to such a strong sports cca.. haiz... people just 3 days can let me c clearly the students tt go in to njc.. they aspire to be the cream of the crop.. so every now and then their discussion is about to take research or not, 1 or 2 H3, how to max their units, how to get scholarship... they already have a clear picture of wat they wana do and who they wana be in future... they go in to njc to fulfil their goals... thats so unlike me... i go to that college becos its NJC... the name NJC... like the pres said, nj is not a mugger school, just that the students mug openly... haha.. cos there relli too many study areas for ppl to mug... tell u, they are more condisive den a library.. i think thats real good abt them... tts jc life, have time for fun but more for work... its only 2 yrs u c.. and the teachers cum in to say 3 or 4 As is not a prob when u cum to njc.. haha.. oh ya, i m kinda lost here... cos most of the ppl around me are staying in the jc.. they cum in thru dsa, be it academic or cca, so they can stay when their l1r5 is below 20... or they appeal thru cca so they staying for syf.. wow... wish me good luck for the O lvl.. heard the results will be out on 5th feb.. pray hard... 1st day in njc.. as expected, my og dun have any1 i know... og 8... can count kelly in bah, but i dun relli know him... left home at 6am, damn early... got traffic jam, but still reach at 7.15am... got in the assembly.. pres of council say this week is all admin thing.. choose combi... next week full week will be the fun orientation... but alredi bored stiff le ya... cos todae practically just had 1 talk after another and intro lesson... i gotta go bio selection test.. so no choice gotta stay till 4.30 to take it.. if not if dun want the intro lesson 2pm can go home le... so scared of the test cos i didn touch my notes... in the end just 60 mcqs in 1h... pray hard for me ya... tml would be another round of the same thing... just tt got some new friends le.. only fridae would be betta bah... cca carnival... hope next week will really be betta =) Monday, January 01, 2007 @ 1/01/2007 04:26:00 PM
yst my family had spring cleaning for the new yr... felt quite bad cos i left home early to go out with the co ppl... met fen and ninet and we went for neoprint... special request from ninet to take with we 2 big stars... haha... juniors and seniors and frens 4eva!! (btw i still tink the purple 1 nicer =p)  den met with weiZ yh josen waeting and peiming... went cineleisure to look for junda qinxin yanyan... den went take neoprint tgt again... qinxin and yanyan zi bi, dun wana take with us... went sch to catch the mco concert... a lot of songs we perform before also.. and the pipa solo nails flew off, string broke and string loose... the girl so suay ya... and half the concert was the mc keep toking abt things in the programme booklet... sumore long teng hu yue became long teng fu yao... haha... headed for marina to countdown... qinxin yanyan and peiming went home... walked all the way and it was damn crowded... so we went padang which was not as crowded... sat on the carpet grass to wait for 2007, facing esplanade... the fireworks were real beautiful can.. still got fireworks within fireworks... and the climax is at the back... so many fireworks altogether.. heard it lasted abt 8min... after that went lau pa sat eat and drink... around 1am den... rush to catch the last train home at 1.30am... wah... 1st time take last train.. and it stopped a long time at those stations with many ppl like dhoby ghaut.. fun day tgt... ppl, rmb to stay together!!!! =) @ 1/01/2007 10:57:00 AM
HAPPY 2007!!!! jiayou for everything u do.. though its gonna be another taxing year, rmb to look at every challenges in ur life with a smile!! all the best!!now will be my new year resolution... in this new and unpredictable year, lotsa things are going to happen... and i shall be prepared too accept them... 1) be happy (easier said den done) 2) put in my best for everything i do anywhere (be it going to be njc or other jcs) 3) get my Os result and accept them.. even though it might be horrendous.... 4) stay in touch with my dearest friends... i wouldn want to lose such great ppl in my life... 5) balance my lifestyle... not too much work (probability = 1%) and not too much play ( probability =99%)... haha... just dun be like this year.. i feel i play real too much... 6) make new friends everywhere i go... 7) spend more time with my family... 8) stay healthy.. (dun eat too much that i becum a fat pig also incuded) 9) pass each day fruitfully... think that should be all... pray hard that 2007 will be a good 1 for me =) gotta go eat breakfast and buy frame for my completed puzzle.. will be back to talk abt yst de outing.. haha... |
