hello 2010!  as usual, there should be some stuff to look forward to in the new year. what we call new year resolutions. i want to be much more independent this year. i want to balance my work and manage my time well. i want to spend more effort and time on studies as well, though this sem could be hard becos its gonna be busy in omc.. i want to stand up for what i know i am right in. sometimes its about me too! no more tolerating and makes myself upset =/ i want to, as usual, spend time with my friends and family (: i want to lead life happily, the way i want it to be (: alright i might not be able to fulfil all, but at least i have sth to work along with. heh. but before the whole year, i need to get pass next week 1st. ultra packed week of canvassing for fund. mon-tues: working as waitress. haha! but i gonna miss the keroro new year celeb :( tues night: omc nightshoot. oh man i haben prepared my kpop outfit! wed-fri: camp coordinator for a sec2 outdoor camp! sat: alumni night 2010's kicking starting on a really busy note (: Friday, January 01, 2010 @ 1/01/2010 09:00:00 PM
goodbye 2009!  every year is special, so is 2009... this year, half of it was led like an adult, out in the working world.. from an admin assistant in f&n coke to a recruitment consultant in RE, each were great experiences where i met wonderful ppl and learnt a great deal. it was through these i learnt to be more independent, and perhaps more courageous. life lessons learnt before i proceed on with my studies. entered university with a bang. people in school and hall were all nice and made uni life much easier than expected. of cos, keroro ppl, the bo tak cek gang. we always look out for one another, go for lunches and dinners tgt, print notes for one another, go to lessons together. of cos we shared lots of fun and laughter tgt. without them, i really have no idea how the sem would have been. i really hope that next sems and sems to come, there wouldnt be much changes to these, even though i know its going to be very hard... hall omc ppl. with them, there is never-ending laughters. these ppl are just too fun and funny. lol! honestly speaking, i didnt think too much into anything. i just treat them as ppl i can really click well with and laugh tgt. i guess in near future i would really need them, when there is nth to do in hall or when i think, my room is too crowded, but yet do not want to be alone. i never expect things to take for a change recently, but i just hope all will turn out well in the end. for friends, i made new ones, became closer to some old ones and drift off from others. i guess this is part and parcel of life, give and take, cos this is the limited time we can have. yes 10 years of friendship with my roomie. well we all know, the only constant is change. from the start of the sem we were closer than before becos, after the jc period when we didnt really stay tgt, there was really a difference. we do basically everything tgt. go to school, meet keroro ppl, go for hall stuff, eat sleep shit tgt heh. and the smart her is always there to teach me. thanks for that! den towards the end of the sem, well there are some changes la. but i hope we can still stay as close as before.. and thats 6 years of frenship with sihui. looking back, i think we were childish. we just laugh like madness over small things. BUT, we just love it the way we were haha! and of cos, thanks to her for always being there to hear what i have to say, listen to my grumbles. thanks girl!! lets continue to enjoy next sem and the year ahead! =) 6 years of friendship with dear xiangling as well. sometimes its easy to forget the people when they are not around u. but its hard to forget this girl. she's always smiling when u see her and does sweet things as well. its not that we have endless stuff to say, but that even not saying anything, u woudnt feel awkward. thats hard to find isnt it. definitely more meetups to come, and hope she stays healthy always!! 6 years of friendship as well with the swiss clique. i was really shock when charlie, chuan fa and kevin came over to my hall during my bday to celebrate. it really feels good to have these ppl that care.. well charlie, i'll tell u more stuff next time if u come over and crash or sth. lol.. 3 years of friendship with the girls in esf. still doing the random stupid stuff, but definitely more hthts since we are separated in different schools. and i'm glad yili and xiuwen are just in hall8, ppl whom i can get to see easily, and always welcome me. thanks girl, may the new year be a great 1 for us. and yes, more stayovers ;) and last but not least, 3 years of friendship with the njco ppl. its hard to organise gatherings for so many ppl given the different schedules, and i'm 1 of the person always not present, but these nice ppl just dun bear grudges. and its just comfortable to be around them. thats good enough. more seniors leaving army and might see them in school :) oh well, such a long post. coming sem gonna be a really busy 1. i hope i can manage well and breeze through it (: 2010 gonna be a good 1!!! oh, its still xmas  when i was about to sleep yst, i suddenly realised, oh no activities for xmas! did a bit of shopping at amk hub after breakfast today with family and came back home to slack. ok i was supposed to sort de hundreds of photos of penang trip and pack de stuff at home and do xmas present+card for chalet and send some omc stuff but i'm just lazy. i just did a bit of packing and started looking at stuff in my gift storage box. new stuff in, and looking thru old stuff. presents from nj seniors, old photos, saw the journey with keroro cd from sherry as well.. end of the year is always a time to look back on everthing done in the year. so so many stuff happened in 2009. good or bad, happy or sad. people come and go, and inevitably things change. not emo, just feeling older. my wish for xmas this year is still the same, to stay happy. be it me or ppl around me (: @ 12/25/2009 12:34:00 AM

back from batam!  time pass like fast to the max!! i'm back from the 3d2n batam hall overseas trip D:it was a hell lots of fun with this group of ppl. u just cant help but laugh till u feel ur abs building up haha! 1st day was shopping at the nth-much-to-shop shopping centres but we ate like tonnes of food! lunch followed by A&W for tea break den crepes along the way plus dinner omg..night was the super crowded htht which is another round of laughter! 2nd day was lots of eating as well, breakfast and lunch buffet. did water sports and the banana boat made me drank buckets of sea water but for the fun, its worth it! and pillow fight with shufen on the structure in the sea which made me screamed like, mad! and OMC just loved throwing ppl into the water. i guessed everyone was thrown into the sea/pool~ poolside bbq dinner was mega mega good! served by chef, nice music and yummy food! went for massage with the old girls at night and cant help but feel ticklish heh.. slept to our hearts' content and 3rd day was spent nua-ing in the hotel, talking to the parrots, playing pool, poker etc. and lunch-dinner in spore bedok interchange tgt wrapped up the wonderful trip tgt! weekend after exams.. no more stayin in hall this weekend yay! saturday de biz mag, log O and shulin ( rep of cp) went to chinatown to buy cloth for the photoshoot on tues. i wore black toga for hall dnd, and imagine i will be wearing white toga for the photoshoot. haha. and since we were at people's park, we went to search for the legendary KOI bubble tea and finally found it after walking here and there for like, 30 min? but yea, its worth it (:  today had tuition with my tuition kid met up with evil stepfam for our gathering... like finally. went to icon village since its the only place with sakae weekend buffets. super full! and really miss these random talks with them. its used to be an everyday affair back in jc days.... awww..   well well its ok we will still be meeting up to count down for the new year yea :) i'll look forward to it :) omc photoshoot up next! glad i have them :)  locked myself in hall to study again this weekend... yst nigt xiuwen and yili came over after their ghost/demon movie and we watched the movie Chocolat at my room. quite an interesting show which makes me crave for choc cake and hot choc! lol.. and we ended up HTHT-ing, playing with xiuwen's iphone app for the whole night. YES the whole night. amazing cos i would end up sleeping in chalets but not last night. lol. until like 7+ am we went can2 for breakfast and back to our halls to sleep. lol :) woke up in the afternoon and revised a bit. not very fruitful. sis called and said they are all coming over jp to have dinner with me. wahahahhaa... ichiban as usual and went to ntuc for some shopping which would last me until the end of exams. which is wed. cant wait!!! anw we were at watsons and saw this really big lollipop. well, there are lots of lollipops inside and we just took polaroids with sis's cool iphone app. they sent me back and mum couldn stand the state of my room. haha! its cos of exams can.... so she end up helping me to clean the room. yays its like super clean now :) and i must say, i am really really glad to have these ppl in my life :):) Thursday, November 26, 2009 @ 11/26/2009 08:05:00 PM
break.. again :)  ok 3 consecutive papers on 3 days.. and i dun feel good about them :(taking a break, just met xiuwen and yili for dinner. good food at sheng shiong 'zhu chao'. shiok eh. haha just that i havent went home for a long time. ya 1 weekend. heh. coupled with interesting stories too. lol looking forward to the next outing. like looooong time since the girls last met :) gonna do the laundry, clean the place, pack my stuff and tml will start mugging again. wooohoo.. let me catch a good night sleep 1st :) actually suddenly i realised, next week will be the end of the 1st sem in uni.. time just zoomed by. 10000 things happened in this short period of time. and soon, its going to be over... trying to step out of the comfort zone, because its no longer a place i should be in.. studying :)  end of 113 paper yst. declared a 1 day break for my poor brain that tried to squeezed the mechanisms in. after the paper yst i was in hall, washing clothes, sweeping the floor, clearing the table, watching videos on facebook. there is a sudden influx of touching videos that will make u tear recently. den later at night we went to celeb our omc president's birthday.... in the hall2 way. damn gross. thank goodness i'm not a guy. lol. hungry in the middle of the night, edwin drove us to extension for supper :) decided to lock myself up in hall to study. spending the whole weekend here for the 1st time. woke up pretty late, facebooked, and here i am trying to do some maths. listenig to the album sihui gave me :) thanks goodness, cos i dun have a radio with me here and there is no online streaming as well. i'm ok with being alone actually. back to the time when i studied for exams alone. at least for this kinda period of time. being alone makes me feel like i want to be productive, get down to serious work. i may grumble a lot, but seriously i know, i'm ok :) 11 days to go :) Thursday, November 19, 2009 @ 11/19/2009 01:33:00 AM
finals:1 day end:14 days  spent the day with the mighty mighty mechanisms today. i jus study and draw and study and draw but i'm scared i forgot them. hope it all comes to me during exams.. yes it will!!! it like 1+am and i still dun feel sleepy, but i just dun feel like memorising the mechanisms anymore :(inspired by our dear miss ah goh goh (aka MAGG), i decided to note down my december schedule. its like... super packed. pls book in advance if u wana make an appt with me! haha! 2/12/09: end of finals-- our 'bo tak cek' og (as named by gerald) will definitely go out, no? 7/12/09: OMC fitting of clothes for dayshoot 8/12/09: OMC dayshoot! 9/12/09-11/12/09: Batam! 1 year older even though its the exams period, i still took time off to celebrate my last birthday that starts with the no. 1 with my family and friends :) birthday surprise by the secondary school ppl! charlie chuanfa and kevin spring up with a surprise with sihui and sherry on friday when i was about to leave hall from home.. really nice of them to come all the way to ntu to celebrate my birthday with me! thanks ppl! love u guys deep deep :)   celebrated on sunday with the usual gang of ppl.. shufen says its the supper clique? lol! caught 2012.. a really nice movie.. glad to spend the first few moments of my 19th with them :) we actually decided to not have any big feast or such already.. but dad still insisted to go out for dinner just now.. so we went to ichiban again for some jap food loving :) special thanks to friends who sent me birthday messages all the way from 12 midnight.. gina, weijian, xiangling, sihui, shanly, yifang, clarice, ninet, wanxuan, alvin, clarissa, charlie, shirley (keroro), seok hoon, melissa, danhong, sherry, joson, seokhoon, shirley (re), yili, jasper, xiuwen, simei, will, meichen, zongxian.. and the 40+ ppl who wrote birthday wishes on my facebook wall:) facebook chat with mr abdullah.. a long lost relief teacher who was really fun.. and he told me this.. eugene's 22nd bday and it was eugene's birthday yesterday.. had lots of rounds of celebration... keroro ppl treated him to ichiban lunch on friday at jp :)  super impromptu decision by shaun to go clubbing on friday night..we went rebel, zirca and lunar.. the guys dranks the chivas without mixer! oh man.. and i like lunar the best! can sing out loud lol...  celebration at vivocity.. no cakes only muffins! haha...  hope he enjoyed his birthday celebration :) @ 10/25/2009 05:49:00 PM
