i was shocked by 2 deaths yst... not by the way they died but the game that their destiny was playing on them.... look through ur msn contacts and u would find so many nick with a tortoise infront... in commemoration of the death of steve irwin... rmb the times i clapped for his bravery with my mouth wide open... he was so close to the crocodile... that croc could have jumped up, open its jaws and swallow yet another person for its meal... but he survived.... however, the the day b4 yst he was killed by the tail of a stingray... the usually passive sea creature whose attack were not fatal and only killed 17 person in the whole history of mankind... i wonder if any1 watched this chinese programme called 'xin1.sheng1.dai4' yst... it features 8 young Singaporeans with 8 diff kind of growing up stories... this boy chen guan zhen was one of them... his story-- growing up in the fight with cancer.... he realised he was down with blood cancer when he was 12... it was heart wreaking not only for him but also for his family... he felt that it was too early to die at 12 and fought the battle with it... aft 1 and a half yr of torment, he won the battle and is ready to start life anew... he went back school this semester, missing half a yr of sec 1 and his frens were all in sec 2... but he had his aspirations... he wanted to pass O level, get into a JC, graduate from uni and become a doctor... but aims and goals were all that he had.... yst he was killed in a car accident... death isn't that scary... its the ppl that live to c the effects that feel that it is scary..... thats the irony of life... they had lived thru sth more dangerous then their killer... but couldn't live thru their fate, their destiny... thats the scary part of live... |
