and more surveys.. so after my first day of work, i continued for 2 consecutive days. though i usually call it a day before 5pm, i still feel mega tired, thus i am only blogging like now.. day2  cos i finished the serangoon hdb area the previous day so i decided to just complete the landed housing there. 7 households. in the morning received RE12-07's call and went down 1st. so i started work at abt 12.30. the weather was freaking hot! abt to get a heat stroke. finally saw an old couple with their grandchildren. the auntie did the survey but the uncle didnt want to. but guess wat while i was asking, the uncle keep popping by to give comments. so much that i thot i can do the survey for him! but at the end of the auntie's survey he really did it with me. can see he really want ppl to chat with him. lol. and i went on to the next address nearby. the guy was single but i thot he was married cos there were children in his home! omg so paiseh. den i wrote the 1st ever refusal letter. the auntie was rushing to go out in her mercedes. lol. those 3 household were in sommerville walk. tired i sat at the coffee shop at the junction for a cup of ice lemon tea. which i totally regretted later. made my way to daisy avenue. dun think the route is short. maps are deceiving. the stretch of road is actually very very long! met this super duper nice auntie. but she has a dog. a small and fat 1 but she can see that i am scared. so she asked her maid to tie it up. omg and she invited me to her house. the moment i stepped in i was like OMG, my face was super duper red! must be dur to the sun. and she was very patient answering all the qn. her maid poured me a glass of iced xian cao!!!! but i was too full from the ice lemon tea. arghhh only drank less than half cup. she advised me to bring a cap next time. so nice! den made my way to jalan girang. saw this old uncle. he speak teochew but can understand chinese. so i was trying to flaunt my teochew which i grew up listening. GUESS WAT. he cant understand my teochew but can understand when i later said in chinese. haha so malu!! the last household on my list was at cotswold close. but that unit was renovating. so 2 units down i saw an old couple. educated and nice people. invited me in and even the maid asked me to bring along an unbrella next time. cos i was really red. haha. and they answered my qn, treated me to iced water. very nice to chat with them. and that ended my day2, at abt 5pm. day3 i did 12 surveys! woohoo! but working time longer. from 11.30 to 5.30. the place was damn ulu. and the structure is weird. one block has 5 lifts, and the corridors are only connected at certain levels. very troublesome. and it was the 1st time i had ppl slamming their doors at me. i dun like marine parade =( and i have poor sense of direction. i take a long time looking at the map i printed. so i asked the children at the void deck. and chased after their bicycle when they show me the way. heh. ok i cant rmb everything. but it was sure tiring. deciding whether to do more after coming back from penang... oh wells so i slacked my whole day at home. rest rest. 11 more address to go. i want my penang trip! |
