updates hello its 1 wk to cny. and i just got my braces on. 1 at a time, shall talk abt the eventful new year 2009. 1. meeting up with the girls.  thats got to be 1 of the most enjoyable thing. we arranged for a gathering last friday evening. well every1 works in the town area except me. met at raffles place before we proceed to settlers cafe. which is in clarke quay. kinda like a explorer's hunt becos we have no idea how to go there. as usual xiuwen was the walking directory to show the way with her map. haha. played some games, like the acting game, cloud9, taboo, snorta. its just amazing to see mk wearing a performer's costume (which is seriously overaged on her) and doing kiddish actions and sounds. haha. a pity it was dress down day so couldn see yili and claire in their office wear. den we went along the s'pore river for some catching up. only 1 month since we last saw each other, but there are so so many things to say. of cos, we used to talk every schoolday, now everything is squeezed to 1 night. haha! 2. end of work  ok this sounds funny cos not long ago i just said i started working. anw its just a 2weeks contract. and i am still unemployed now. its ok there are plenty of jobs on the papers. i'm sure i can find 1 which i like more =Dback to the topic, fncc actually give out staff drinks. 2 cartons each per month. but cos this month is cny, they give 5. and even a 2wks temp like me is included! haha so i spent 3 days lugging them home. luckily there were nice and friendly ppl there who would offer to carry for me =) so now mum dun need to buy new yr drinks anymore =D went around saying bye bye to the acquaintances in the company. like the admin coordinater alison, hr evelyn, guy on intern and the bus driver who sends me home. lol thats quite few.. 3. more surveys  well nuh is trying to clear the ntuc vouchers for the surveys. so they got those ppl who did more last month to continue. so i did more surveys during weekends. since my work is only 2wks this month, i need more $ to pay for my braces. haha! its pretty interesting to explore into the ulu parts in the north which i never thot i could see. the place where i had the deepest impression is probably the 一房半厅一水缸 kind of houses. haha i have totally no idea they exists in woodlands! the corridor were a bit dark ( the pic is not accurate) but the ppl are better than those living in bigger houses i tell u. seriously, i dun mind being rejected but shooing ppl off is really not a very polite thing. i am not a cat or dog in ur void deck ok! i am just doing survey and not like u do it for free. u get vouchers la. so wats with those nasty words and hand actions to shoo ppl away! 4. braces and now is the most recent 1. went to dentalworks to get my braces fixed early in the morning. Dr poon showed me the mould of my teeth. wah uber messy. looking forward to how it will look like 2 years later. lol. the time taken was abt 1hr, and i almost fell asleep. after he took away the thing to open my mouth while he fix the brackets on, i totally couldn close my mouth. oh man. actually the prob of my teeth is that it is messy and the front ones are protruding at an angle out. so now its worst la with the brackets on. but was so amazed when dr poon said that he can make teeth go left, right, in, out, up down and even rotate! wow! and i have problem talking cos my lips are blocked by the brackets. oh man i have no idea how to go for the next interview. but am glad that i dun have to work this week. can slowly get used to the braces =) and cos my upper teeth will keep knocking onto the metal pieces of the lower teeth, he put sth like a platform at the back so that its not that bad. but now i cant eat anything except liquid food. oh good that helps in dieting. lol. and i can imagine the time i need to clean my teeth everyday for the rest of the 2 years. awwww.... _______________________________________________________________________________________________ thats abt it. so looking forward to playing at sihui's house this sat! =D |
