catch up was busy with the uni application yst. thanks to the discretionary admission stuff. see thats the result of doing things late la. haiz. but finally everything is more or less settled, left with some touch-ups on tuesday.. and so it was a week with lots of catching up with different ppl :) with family! last sunday we went for food fair @suntec. long time since we last hit the more town part tgt. there were a lot of ppl, making eating less enjoyable. we still left with bags of stuff though, like chicken essence, bak gua, prawn crackers etc.. and we headed to crystal jade for the fav xiao long bao with half-filled stomach.. there we saw the fountain of wealth open for ppl to go walk a round, touch the water and make a wish! so we made ourselves like tourists, joining the queue and taking photos while waiting :)  after xiao long baosssss we went to MOF next next door for dessert! my treat for the month with my pay.. and the gelato ice cream there are goodness uber nice la!! so i insist to take a pic with dad and mum as an evidence. hahaa!  with the clique!  celebrated angila bdae in advance on tues @ causeway point pizza hut. and of cos, uni application is the point of discussion. but we could still talk crap like in the past. haha! amazing how every1 is leading a very different life, when we used to do the same thing during secondary school days... and its really nice to have gatherings like this!! :):) with the girls!  on thurs we went for dinner @ prego in fairmont. we were scammed by the $500 voucher cos the value is actually $50. but we stayed on for dinner though. definitely burnt a hole in the pocket for its price, but thats fine dining isnt it. heh. the food portion was really big. and we each ordered different kinds of pastas. after trying each kind, i think i was half full already. too much pasta of the same taste makes me sick, so were swopped the plates around.. not to forget the tiramisu we shared at the end. nice nice. and we sat there chatting until like 10+ about so so many things, since the restaurant wasnt really full. a pity mk had to leave early. and we left because they have already start setting up for breakfast the next morning and we were scared they will chase us out. lol! but its set that we will definitely have a meeting soon soon. cos we haven paid xiuwen for the meal =p and the pics for the day: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v708/sophiaeng_90/prego%20w%20girls/ with colleagues!  on fri lunch time had lunch with my boss, alison and candy. the moment i stepped into the room the got a shock man. its a mini farewell lunch for me cos i'm ending work there next week. and there will be some rollouts at night which means i dun have work the next day. i knew there was sakae delivery but not so many! we almost couldnt finish the salmon sashimi. shiok to the max! and my phone battery died on me so i cant take photo of the dessert-- 11 SECRET RECIPE CAKES OF DIFFERENT FLAVOURS!!!! my goodness i stuffed myself to eat so many but we still couldn finish, so they da-baoed some home. fresh cream cakes like the mango, choc banana and choc are still my fav, compared to the brownies, carrot cake, apple cheese etc.... 1 more treat by the company next week. i get to choose wat to eat! yay! with clarice & joson! went back to visit our tuition teacher ms ho on friday evening. for a short while only since she was having tuition. after that we went for macs and sat there to chat. joson is like mega funny. after so many things 1 that left the most deep deep impression on me is the saying gong xi in the mortuary. omg couldnt stop laughing lah!! ok so we talked abt a lot, from uni interview to doctors and business and so so many stuffs :) with relatives! went to the cemetery for qing ming today. as usual the uncles aunties and cousins were there.. its going to be the last year there!! cos they are clearing the land so we have to move ah gong to the temple... aww.. its like a tradition to go there sao mu every year since i dont know when la.. ok thats happening. after this coming week i gotta look for another job soon!! |
