great weekend the last weekend was as usual, great! saturday morning the family went over to get some documents and procedures for my university funds done, followed by a nice Mac breakfast and shopping at causeway point. omg the GSS is here, more shopping needs to be done! haha!! den met up with xiangling and shufen for a lunch meetup. crazy xiangling insisted on treating us cos we treated her the last time for her birthday. had pastamania and the usual talking of everything under the sun. we had a nice time chatting while having pasta and bubbletea at sweet talk. past by a vcd stall and we stood there watching "Shi Wan Ge Wei Shen Me!". oh man and all the childhood memories came back! We promised to next meet up at me and shufen's hostel where we will have our room warming with xiangling :) parted with them and took a bus to east coast. the trip was crazily long. i slept and woke and daydreamed and slept and stoned for the 1+ hour journey. and the bus stop was quite far from where the co ppl were! meichen came late taking the same bus and she walked the wrong direction somemore. think she walked super super long.. met up with the njco ppl. omg it was like 580 years since i saw lerxian, 320 years since i saw jinxian. and the 1st time seeing joson in not-very-botak hair as well! the army boys were mad. they dug a 1m deep whole! like those that they sit in to fire during army i think. it became a tourist attraction and sooo many ppl came over to take photo with it. before we could do that, some malays came and filled the hole:( most of the boys went to ride bike while i relived my childhoood memory again-- playing with sand! haha just happen to see the stuff while searching the storeroom for the frisbee.  initially liyana nd danhong were playing too! but they soon became too bored to continue. i tried really hard to make a sandcastle but man, it was soooo difficult. i gave up after making this.after that was some chit chatting on the mat, eating the food that they bought earlier at shing shiong. it was super funny when they keep saying the colourful biscuits are bai4 chen2 biscuits.. later in the evening the sky was dark and looked like it was going to rain, so we had to pack up and leave for parkway parade for dinner. Danhong and jiahao left earlier and we forgot to take photo tgt :/ anyway parkway parade was super big. me and meichen were totally zihighing in there. haha esp when we saw her future workplace, Da Bao TCM clinic. LOL! and we had ajisen ramen for dinner. jinxian sure has lots of stories to tell, and the guys educated me and meichen more abt army stuff. haha. photos outside ajisen!  i'm so missing chi fan sessions!!!! |
