the happiest re day  and today was probably the happiest day that i had at work![even though 1 candidate went MIA, 1 candidate "lao sai" (omg thats so crude of him to use this word. gross.) and couldn come for interview] haha! today i closed 1 contract staff for starhub and 1 perm staff for SICC. both are fresh ORD IT people. thats more pocket money earned. the thing is the perm staff. he looked really good in his resume photo. and his resume was super well written i think. and after some consideration between our client and another company, he chose to accept our offer! i was super excited since yst. oh ya we had temp outing on thurs. 10 temps and out of which only i am still working in RE. heh. and we had dinner at BigO and went over fareast for ice dessert. oops i side tracked. ok so i told every1 i am finally going to shang4 bang3 today. in RE, u get 22bucks for contracts case closed and $10 for perm, but u can write your perm sales on the board and ring the bell. den every1 will clap for you. i was soooo happy cos i was closing contracts all along. no shang4 bang3 feels like not working in RE before lor! so today the guy went to sign the LOA and initiated to come pay the intro fee. and i got to ring the bell though the sales was not a lot la. when he reached he was like so happy and half bowed saying thanks for my help. omg i was like bowing back. LOL. and he asked if he can used netts or visa to pay the IF. but of cos cant! so he went downstairs atm. the fee was $53.50 but he didnt have change so kept asking me to keep the change. i insisted and went out to get the change of cos. and before he left he stuff a box of royce choc to me! i kept saying nooooooo but he said pls pls and went off. omg. i was so shocked i forgot to give him the receipt! so i chased out. oh man. when i went back every1 was like "OHHHHHH" when they saw the choc. haha cos the past candidates didtn give them that. and they felt that the guy was good looking haha. so the choc became out team's tea break. totally no mood to work after that. my teamlead ask me to offer the choc to our director. and i did. she say she heard abt it and the candidate must be very satisfied with my service. heh. 1 consultant asked if i have a sense of job satisfaction, and indeed i have! (not just because the guy was shuai4 ok!) and so, working in RE is not that bad after all :) |
