time out! time to take a break after the week. well i have been doing that every weekend la just that this time its spent with the family :) early in the morning went to lavender ICA to collect mum and marg's passport. den we went to bugis for some shopping and pray at the guang yin temple. Goodness there were super a lot of ppl there! and the lots of ppl taking photo outside the temple. think they caught me on camera! haha. along the way we bought like super lots of food. from bo luo bao and egg tarts to cream puffs. beard papa is seriously nice! we dropped by a gui ling gao specialist stall and went in for a rest. it was soooo bitter! until mum was like filling the spoon with half with the gui ling gao and half is the honey syrup. lol. but i have to say u will feel really good after eating it. and marg had cough and sore throat so mum bought "ku cha" for her also. omg i can imagine how bad it was cos i always feel like vomitting drinking those things.. we made our way to the new iluma as well. goodness the escalator that brings you up the 4th storey from the 1st is scary... and there is very very few ppl there despite bring a saturday. the food area on the 4th storey has a great variety of food! there was this shabu shabu buffet at a jap restaurant and we were so tempted to try it! but we ate so many things already, not in a good state for buffet so just add a mental note for it. we will be back!  lunch time we went to bugis junction for xiao long baosssss cos mum was craving for it... us with the xiao long baossss :) we continued shopping in bugis until late afternoon when dad met us for dinner at our fav bbq stall. i must say the bbq stuff is getting too spicy! it was a long day. but shioook ah! :) oh and yes i'm super looking forward to the sec school class gathering on saturday :) |
